De Weide Wereld

Sometimes Petra and Bruno have wanderlust themselves. Then they sit down in their VW bus and explore cultures near and far. But the two Belgians are just as happy to stay in their country house near Bruges and welcome guests from all over the world. Their ecologically renovated cottage is furnished with personal favorite things - souvenirs from their travels and vintage furniture pieces. And that makes it especially homey here. You feel like you're visiting good friends. Of course, when you know that Bruno processes the fruit harvest from the garden into jam and Petra bakes a fresh loaf of bread to go with it, which is served at breakfast - mmmmh...! But a lot of love is not only in the fresh delicacies that are conjured up here for breakfast or for the break in between, but in every corner of the house. The rooms are all individually and imaginatively designed. There is much to marvel at: Oriental lamps or the GrannySquare crocheted ceiling, the colorful wallpaper and carpets, maps and globes. There are three rooms in total: two double rooms and one family room with a sleeping gallery. And it is not for nothing that the hosts named their BnB the "Meadow World": The house has a beautiful garden, with secluded spots for breakfast or an hour with a good book. Everywhere you look at the surrounding nature and the meadows that surround the property. You get the feeling that time goes a little slower here. Here you can just be. De Weide Wereld manages to be its own little world that is at the same time open to everyone. A place full of travel stories with regional ties.

• the beautiful garden, which invites you to read a good book, eat a piece of homemade cake or take a nap in the sun
• the breakfast with many regional and lovingly homemade products
• the free view of the opposite field and nature

GOOD TO KNOW:

• Petra and Bruno are happy to give tips for excursions in the area; travel guides, maps and literature can be found in the living room
