Aufberg
Live in architectural highlights: The two vacation homes Aufberg 1110 and 1113 were planned as a bold and linear statement in the middle of a slope of the Hohe Tauern and have already been nominated and awarded for several architectural prizes. Two islands of tranquility in the middle of the mountains, at 1110 meters above sea level and 1113 meters above sea level. The perfectly planned visual axes in the four extraordinary apartments delight friends of balanced symmetry, the natural materials of natural wood, reinforced concrete and light gray stone delight the design and architecture affine heart. Through the huge windows you feel in the midst of nature and yet at the same time well protected. In Aufberg 1113, you can see from the apartment Schwalbennest through the window frames to the glaciers like a picture on the wall. The absolute highlight is the terrace suspended in the airy heights. This is now indeed legendary, as it adorns numerous covers of travel and architecture magazines. The second apartment, the Spatzennest, enchants with a fantastic panoramic view from east to west. The two apartments in the smaller house Aufberg 1110, Freisitz and Ansitz, have entire walls and fixtures made of wood, with different room heights and galleries and also delight with large panoramic windows. They spread the warmth and comfort of a classic mountain lodge, complete with fireplace and crackling wood fire. Living on the mountain in the Aufberg is a very special experience.
WHAT WE LIKE MOST:
- The two houses (designed by the renowned Munich architect Prof. Andreas Meck) at 1110 and 1113 meters above sea level are architecturally an ensemble, yet each house has its own extraordinary charm.
- Its position on the slope, its bold and courageous construction is spectacular.
- The clarity, the visual axes, the phenomenal view
- The great design with natural wood
- The scent of conifers - indoors and outdoors
- The beautiful floor made of large stone slabs in the sparrow's nest as well as the large loden seating niche and of course the large panoramic window
- The wooden fixtures connect different elements in the apartment in the Ansitz, e.g. the bench and the built-in kitchen.
- The indescribably great terrace in the swallow's nest and also the fireplace, which can be admired as a room divider from two sides
- The own small sauna of each apartment
