Sometimes you end up in a place that is simply magical. As soon as you cross the threshold, you know for certain – I’m going to enjoy myself here! The Beach Lounge on Sylt is one of those places. This impressive domicile with modern loft character is the latest addition to a total of eight exquisite Sylt Lofts. From the outside, the classic Frisian house with its thatched roof and red bricks blends perfectly into the Rantum surroundings. Once inside, you are instantly overwhelmed by all the charm: a generous 190 square meters spread over the ground floor, upper floor and basement – just perfect for two families who want to spend time both together and on their own. The heart of the accommodation, the ground floor, is open plan and impresses with a huge kitchen with a cooking island, a large dining area with Eames chairs, and a cozy sofa corner. Well-chosen design elements, black-and-white photographs in 60s style and mullioned windows create a homey atmosphere. The high-quality furnishings range from fine Villeroy & Boch crockery to state-of-the-art technology and a sophisticated lighting concept, creating an exclusive ambience that really leaves nothing to be desired. Except perhaps one – more time to spend here. Either inside or outdoors on the sun terrace with a small garden. The decision is tough: a lounge chair in the Beach Lounge or a beach chair on the beach?

WHAT WE LIKE MOST:

• The special lighting for any time of day or night: when the sun is low, the loft takes on a very special, wonderful ambience. Every room has its own, perfectly tailored light source, which can be adjusted depending on your mood. Guaranteed comfort.
• The comfy velour sofa on the ground floor with its golden shimmer – it picks up the colors of sunlit dunes and invites you to spend relaxing hours in the evening, enjoying the crackling of the fireplace or your favorite series on the big Smart-TV.
• There are three bedrooms – two upstairs and one in the basement, each with a double bed and custom-made furnishings.
• Upstairs there’s a second bathroom with a shower, and a cozy living area with a small, stylish kitchenette
• A pleasant surprise awaits you in the basement – a true wellness oasis! A spacious bathroom with shower and floor heating, all in concrete-ciré style, as well as a sauna for 4-6 people.
• On sunny days the outdoor area with a west-facing wooden balcony and a large sun terrace with a small garden is a delight; the garden table with eight chairs, a beach chair and a sun lounger are perfect for outdoor gatherings.

GOOD TO KNOW:

• Rantum is small and tranquil, but it has everything you need – the beach, a supermarket and fine cafés and restaurants are within walking distance. we recommend dinner on the terrace at the Strandmuschel restaurant, where you can watch the sun bathe the sky above the North Sea in pink ...
• You can easily explore the whole island by bike from Rantum.
• Walks on the mudflats, lighthouse tours in Hörnum, surfing, kite surfing or windsurfing – it’s no wonder that Sylt is Germany's most popular holiday island, there's alot going on here ... 
• The Sylter Welle adventure pool or the Sylter Schokoladenmanufaktur (Sylt chocolate factory) are perfect for rainy days.
• For smaller Sylt guests, the Naturgewalten adventure center is a real highlight (with a great outdoor adventure playground).
• Baby bed and high chair are available free of charge on request
• Sylt can be reached quickly and easily from Hamburg-Altona with the Schleswig-Holstein-Ticket; from Westerland there is a bus to Rantum/Mitte, and from there it’s only a five-minute walk to the Beach Lounge.
• The minimum stay at the Beach Lounge is seven nights.
