Where better to get away from it all than away from it all? Or better yet, in an infinity pool away from it all. Surrounded by space. And trees. And sky. And more space. Casa Amici provides just that, and more. The spacious property in Italy’s Marche region is tucked away under a seemingly unending expanse of sky, with mountains in the far distance and gentle waves of hills below, blanketed with sunflowers, wheat fields and olive groves. In the morning the house is still quiet, the clear water of the pool laps gently. But the magnificent gate is already open, waiting to welcome new guests. The spacious estate with its cypress, fruit and olive trees is reached across a drive of crackling gravel. The scent of lavender fills the air. So take a deep breath, stretch those limbs tired from the journey and let yourself be inspired by the fantastic views over the lush countryside. Pour a glass of wine to toast the coming days. A round of table tennis to loosen up before dinner? The grill is ready to go. Meanwhile, some of the gang have discovered the piano in the dining area and are happily banging away on the keys. The pool, too, has awoken from its slumber and by the sound of it, exuberant water fun is being had. All in all ¬ the sound of vacation with friends and family. WHAT WE LIKE MOST:

• "Hello, anyone there? Nope. Wonderful." The vacation house is situated in an isolated corner of the Macerata province, with a wonderful view of sunflower fields, hills and mountains.
• On one side the Adriatic coast with its beaches, on the other the Apennine mountain range. The farmhouse stands in the perfect spot right between.
• Head out in any direction and go on a voyage of discovery.
• The farmhouse was restored with great attention to detail between 2006 and 2010, and now the villa shines on the hilltop in its original, rustic style.
• The exterior clearly impresses with its design and creative planting.
• The interior maintains the rustic style with white walls, ceramic floors and wooden ceiling beams. The house is equipped with everything you need to make yourself comfortable.
• Vacation happens outside: table tennis, a lounge corner for 10 people, the Weber gas grill, the heated pool (with counter-current for the athletically inclined or a relaxation pool) - or you can just stroll around the magnificent property.

GOOD TO KNOW:

• The two stories offer plenty of space for friends and families: upstairs are 4 fully air-conditioned bedrooms with double beds and 2 bathrooms. The ground floor has, in addition to the spacious dining and living area, a studio with a sofa bed for two and a shower.
• A sauna overlooking nature invites you to relax and unwind.
• For the children there’s a wooden horse for an equestrian exercise or two, and a large trampoline.
• The house is located in the countryside between the villages of Apiro, Cupramontana and Stafolo, each of which can be reached in 10 minutes by car.
• Green energy: the owners are very proud to have reached their goal in May 2020, and thanks to solar and photovoltaic systems they can now supply guests with environmentally friendly energy.
• Each room is equipped with its own floor heating.
• Excursions to numerous nature reserves, the sea, visits to historic villages and cultural sites ¬ the Marche region is a treasure chest, and largely untouched by mass tourism to boot.
• Ancona airport is 35 minutes away from the house, the nearest beaches Sirolo and Senigallia are 1 hour away.
