Kurblhof

Everything you do with joy and love can only turn out well. The best example of this is the Kurblhof in Leutasch Valley, Tyrol, which was reopened by Theresa and Alessio in June 2024 after extensive ecological renovations. This wooden house, which combines a traditional design with modern elements, exudes tranquility and a sense of being close to nature. It’s surrounded by a spacious garden where you’ll find fruit trees and vegetables growing and thriving. The courtyard offers seven apartments, all flooded with light and designed in a straightforward, warm and cozy style. The hosts’ commitment to protecting nature is also reflected in the interior design—from the solid wood furniture made by a local carpenter to the organic cotton fabrics. The walls are made of clay and clad in silver fir wood, while the floors are made of oak. This creates a pleasant indoor climate—and a feel-good atmosphere. But there’s another reason why guests are happy even on a rainy day: The sauna area with a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains. This alone leaves you with little choice but to return from your vacation deeply relaxed.

WHAT WE LIKE MOST:

  • The subtle color scheme in light natural tones, punctuated by accents in black, colored cushions and balcony furniture in pastel colors
  • The different-sized wall tiles in the bathrooms and kitchens are real eye-catchers.
  • How harmoniously the interior made of natural materials blends in with the surrounding landscape.
  • The homely, subtle scent of wood in the air
  • The delicious breakfast that Alessio prepares for guests in the associated organic country guesthouse Monika (directly opposite!)—with the world’s best home-baked bread!
  • The fantastic view of the mountains and the Leutasch Valley
  • You can unwind in the 95-square-meter spa area on the third floor of the hotel. In the Finnish sauna, the sanarium or the relaxation room with vitamin bar, tea and dried fruit, the stresses of everyday life become a distant memory.
  • The warmth of the hosts! Their enthusiasm for the region is infectious—and their tips for things to do are worth their weight in gold.
  • The charming village of Leutasch at an altitude of 1,138 meters in the heart of the Tyrolean Alps, surrounded by untouched nature with majestic peaks, hiking trails and crystal-clear streams

GOOD TO KNOW:

  • 7 Apartments gehören zum Kurblhof, davon sind 6 für bis zu 4 Personen und eines kann bis zu 6 Personen beherbergen. Alle verfügen über eine Küche und eigene Balkone
  • Younger guests are particularly welcome. There are baby beds and high chairs, and a sandpit, swing and slide in the garden. An adventure playground, an alpine pool with adventure slide, toboggan runs (in winter times) and a petting zoo are not far away.
  • Here, attention is consistently paid to sustainability: The photovoltaic system converts solar energy into electricity; geothermal energy is used for environmentally friendly heating.
  • One relaxing massage, please! Two professional masseurs offer both traditional and Ayurvedic treatments. Manicures and pedicures are also available.
  • auf dem Kublhof finden regelmäßig Retreats zu Themen wie Frequenzmedizin oder Klangtherapie mit Oberton-Instrumenten statt
  • A specially equipped room is available for fans of yoga, qigong or breathing techniques. Floor-to-ceiling windows look out onto the greenery of the garden—just right for creating a relaxing atmosphere.
  • To keep electromagnetic pollution to a minimum, there’s no Wi-Fi at the Kurblhof or the organic country guesthouse. However, if you need internet, you can connect via the LAN network.
  • The region offers great nature experiences: In winter, there’s often plenty of snow here—perfect for skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing. In summer, you can enjoy water sports on Lake Achensee, swimming in the Wildsee or hiking in the Wetterstein mountains.
  • Leutasch is a 40-minute drive from Innsbruck and just under two hours from Munich. Covered parking spaces are available.
  • The nearest train station is in Seefeld, with a bus connection from there. The guest card (available at check-in) allows you to use public transport in the region free of charge.
