Over a glass of wine, we discovered that we have at least one passion in common: spending days and often nights searching the Internet for special vacation spots and accommodations. Looking for that one perfect place with that very special something. With good design and the right mix of uniqueness, honesty, warmth, casualness or even craziness.

Since these little treasures are so hard to find, we had the idea - a few glasses of wine later - to present our finds on our own website. With short texts and beautiful photos that make you want to pack your suitcase. Here is the result: a personally curated selection of our Lieblingsquartiere. And there are more and more every day. We sift, search, collect, select: in blogs, magazines, social media accounts or newsletters. Our list includes accommodations with personality, style, new concepts, because of their special location or architecture - everything that convinces us personally, without following a strict selection catalog.

All texts on our site are personally written by us, all photos personally selected. Quite useful are our previous professional experiences in the fields of press relations, cultural management, marketing, editing, proofreading and copywriting.
